I need a "bracket" pitcher? What exactly does that mean?

I don’t think the coach pitch caller would do any better than a random pitch generator or the pitcher calling her own pitches. It would still come down to pitcher execution.

My DDs coach was a college catcher. He's an outstanding pitch caller and she is much better with him there. There are coaches that track data, see practice swings, stances, and posture, know situations and relate to the pitcher. This is a decided advantage. I don't think it should be underestimated though certainty he is uniquely good at it. I've also seen uniquely bad. It matters.

Missing something? That's for you to determine. Personally, I won't sit while catching. The target is not the same for the pitcher, and it puts the catcher in harm's way. Seeing people catch their daughters with a fielding glove and no gear makes me scratch my head, especially when the pitcher throws hard.

This may be the worst post of all time. Virtually every parent that catches lessons for their daughter uses something to set on. LEsoftballdad is the only one that doesn’t.
