You see, lasted not even 24 hours:D Im all ears Five? I do not have his book, so i cannot say. I posted to shots of miggy, i cannot see it any other way.

did Williams ever drop his barrel down? Or did he bend his front leg, and crouch down?

You wrote "and being late, would create driving the ball hard into the ground."

Williams wrote "Popping up? Probably swinging late."

Williams: Ground out a lot? You’re probably swinging too early. Popping up? Probably swinging late. It’s a slight upswing, remember, and when you’re late you’re under the ball, when you’re early you’re on top.

what are your own thoughts on these quotes? I can grasp his thought, But every once in a while when i demonstrate tilt, and barrel angle to a "swing level" dad, i will use my tee, set low, and show him that a drop angle bat does not mean a high fly ball, that being late will drive the ball into the ground, and if i am early, with the contact way out front, it will go in the air, bur if you square up, it is aline drive,
With a level swing all bets are off, hit under the ball will go up, hit on top, ball will go down. With an angled bat, you will Slice, or Cut, if you do not square up.

Again i can grasp his concept, because of the slight upsweep of the bat. so i can see that there are so many variables and i knew this might happen, still only partially correct, darn

Mann, I am not ignoring your question. I am not grasping the swing path you are using in your demo. In your demo, is the tip of the bat going down just beyond impact? Is the tip of the bat going down just prior to impact?

Last night i worked on "coiling forward" I used 'riding the coil forward" and balance. riding slowly and a soft toe touch. And then explained that you did not have to wait till toe touch to let your swing go, or, if needed to sink lower, "sit".

I am not saying do these things by any means, i am still learning myself. But words and phrases that others have used in the past are starting to make sense now.

we do not "push" from the back foot, but we "fall" forward.

I explained to her about not leading with the elbow so much and she adjusted her hands a bit and I showed her in model swings the coil that I wanted her to get... still trying to get that.

flat out STUD swing in the cage. Just get her to do it in games. So that means live pitching to multiple locations and different speeds....he cage/machine swing is there, her game swing isn't.
Yes! If the weather holds up we will play this weekend, then we'll see if it translates over.

I have her working a drill where she's on the tee and practices turning the hips three times before she actually does a full swing. We moved her hands out a bit too.

Thanks to everyone here giving tips and trying to help, it's so nice having a resource like this available.
