Can anyone advise on how easy/difficult it is to get WS tickets when in OKC. We are playing in the OKC challenge and I wanted to know if I need to get tickets up front.

We played in the Challenge last year. Bought tickets ahead of time to a few games. Payed too much through a ticket broker. But, we were at least comfortable with the fact we had reserved seats to a few games.

We found, after we got there, that tickets were easily purchased at the HOF stadium. And, were better seats than our reserved seats, plus were cheaper. The biggest crowds were there Friday and Saturday, seemed to be a little less on Sunday. It was never so crowded you couldn't find a seat, or a spot to stand.

We went on Sunday afternoon after playing our pool games that morning. The girls still had their uniforms on. It was after the second inning of the Alabama game started and the ticket guy just waved us through. Said "ballers" were always welcome. Very nice people.

Take the time to visit the museum, it's a must see.

We really enjoyed that tournament. Very competitive teams from different states.

We're looking at the TCS tournament being held the same weekend in OKC.

If you buy ahead of time the first day they go on sale from the ncaa ur fine. if you wait your exposed to getting random seats-not together especially if you want a large number. OR like another poster said paying way too much at a broker.

If you wait a few days youll get nothing-sells out every year.

You can buy a few tickets the day of the games from scalpers and at the field box office but quantities r limited. Your not gonna find much for the fri/sat games the day of but sunday/Monday usually works out fine.

We do this every year. if you have a couple people online to buy the moment they go on sale your fine. Last year they sold out in 10 min ;)

Our daughter played in the Challenge last year and went to a lot WCWS games. I want to say there was information about tickets in the tournament package they got. DH got tickets about this time last year around the same time hotel arrangements were booked through the tournament. The tickets they had weren't great, but they enjoyed it and were able to move around in the stands for the lower attended games.
