Share your preferred equipment, filming locations, tips, tricks etc. Ideally I'd like to have something that records the whole game that I can mount and grab at the end of the game. Good enough resolution to see a decent part of the field. Battery life and memory to do four games. Any feedback appreciated.

Go pro Hero4 silver with LCD Screen

Use a 64 gig memory card or bigger. 1080p @ 48 fps second. Do not use wifi. Get the external battery along with the lynkspyder provided by Josh Greer on this forum.

We use same set up. Works extremely well.
WARRIORMIKE - she must do this often by the reaction of the teammates. A bomb over the fence and they are nonchalant. Lol

How many 1h30m games will each battery and card handle? Also about how high up on the backstop are you mounting?

External battery - usually last more than a whole weekend of games - about 12 games maybe more but depends on size you buy. Internal battery hold just one game.
64gig card - about three games, maybe four depending on game length.

I try and setup the camera as high as I can on the fence. I also don't use the wifi feature of the camera. I'll try and remember to snap a pic of the setup on the fence this weekend.

This is the setup I use

Is that the one called Battery BackPac?

Little's Dad, the external supply just acts like a "charger" to the camera/battery then?

image.jpgthe external battery I use is EasyAcc Monster 20,000mAH. Similar to Little's dad. They are also called power banks or chargers.
When using these, you do not require the internal GoPro battery. The other advantage is that it reduces equipment heat.
