We've got hitting and fielding model videos. Anybody have any good videos of players sliding?

What are tips on teaching experienced players to slide better? I've seen threads on teaching beginners or younger players, but what about players who can slide, but could do it better? What are the common things missing from a good slide? Seems like about half the slides I see entail slowing down a little.

Any advice? Photos? Film?

Speed and experience are the 2 things I see missing. It's one of those things we don't practice enough. Fear is another problem we run into.

Here's a couple of videos I found and turned into a nice progression for our girls 14U. Funny thing is that they kept asking for more sliding and once we did this progression about 3 times (maybe 20 minutes each time for 3 practices), they wanted to be done. But I have to say we ended last year as a good sliding team! They knew what to do and what not to do and over time most changed what they were doing to prevent injury and have more fun. For some girls it's a mental block, they learn what to do but just cannot pull the trigger, even in practice. Our approach worked well for us (spend the time breaking it down the elements, working with it for a couple of practices, then move on).

I would add the hook slide to your arsenal. I've found that hook sliding not only help them miss the tag but it keeps the body rolling over so one area is not taking all the abuse during the slide. It seems the really help timid sliders get over their fear.
