Victorville is pretty close to hell. It is called Barstow, Ca. Lived there for 6 months while waiting for Army housing at Ft Irwin. Ugliest area I have ever seen.

Which suggests that another school looked the other way at the pitcher's little indiscretion?
The catcher was a signed 2014 that lost her deal with a mid-major (story broke after NLI period). The pitcher was a verballed 2015 and placed on double-secret probation.

There should have been more issues for the coach in the above video than anything. A play like that immediately following a conference? How stupid can you be?

I have seen it many times though and most of the time, the catcher is ejected. It is hard to pin it on the pitcher because the catcher does have an opportunity to stop it from happening. I cut the best placement pitcher I have ever coached on the last team I coached and ended up later cutting a decent catcher. She got frustrated because the plate ump was not giving her some calls and worked it out with the catcher, it was not blatant the first time and nothing was done (I could not tell it was absolutely intentional). The next pitch there wasn't a doubt in my mind. Such a shame that sportsmanship sometimes goes out the window.
