I get in trouble almost every All Star season. Such as, a Little League pitcher is wearing a first base mitt. I try to tell the coach, and you know what I hear. "She has worn it all year." Another one is the little girl is obviously swinging a baseball bat. I gently try to tell them the bat is illegal. Same reply.

What they don't seem to understand is that once you get into districts, the rules are adhered to. And getting told that your glove is illegal, while you are pitching, is not a good thing.

Oh, another good one is, a parent will be yelling "She has to slide!" :)

Now I'm being told by coach that this was cleared by his LL and that it's OK to do this because "They are going to mix the teams up" and it's just a bunch of kids showing up for practice. Unbelievable. I'm debating reporting this to higher authorities.

It cannot be cleared by the league. It is an international rule.

As for coaches not allowed to warm up pitchers, that rule is in place to keep the kids involved. At one time, only players were allowed to be base coaches.
