Was going to say the same thing, except to go iScore, because GC is a POS.

Been using GC for years - what makes you call it a POS? It's easier to use than iScore, it's free, and it captures all the same stats as iScore. I only use iScore for my rec team because we play with modified rules: all batters start with 1 strike, and GC won't let you set a starting count for an entire game or league.

actually have downloaded both apps, and intend to go with one, but want to also do paper until comfort level is reached (also, note, this will mostly be one of 3 or 4 parents for my team, not me, I am too busy coaching).

GC seemed easier to use to me as well, except for coach pitch. I am doing 10u LL, and we do not walk in runs (and DD will be at this level at least two more years, she is only league age 7), 4 ball counts with bases loaded offensive coach comes in to pitch. still want to record the walk for my pitcher though, for statistical purposes (main stat I track at this age is walks per inning or game, I could care less if they are getting hit, I do not want walks or the opposing coach giving them meatballs). Other than this I really liked GC, again, very user friendly. going to try and convince others in my league to use it (so we can easily exchange lineups), easier to do switch GC I think because it is free. did some practice games with it, and liked it.

This is where iScore wins - it is definitely more flexible: you can tell it Coach Pitch on Walk. I've been bugging the GC guys to add some features, but they're more focused on how to get money out of coaches and fans.

GameChanger is great. Does present a challenge if you are playing modified rules at all though. We played an indoor tournament where is was 6 outs, then switch sides, batters started 1-1. That was a GC nightmare. Haven't tried iScore. My wife scores on GC, but if she isn't at the game, no one else does it so we enter it later to be able to track stats.

I still use a real book though. I got a custom one from Grand Slam score books. They are great. Has a lineup card that you fill out and it makes all the copies for you, even in the book. You can also send it your logo and they will make a custom cover for you.
