Can definitely relate to the never-ending inning. I am not super religious, but those kind of innings do make me pray more! Tonight we play a team that won 20-5 on Monday (vs a team better than us). They scored 13 in the 1st inning. I should probably start praying now

Haha... about 15 years ago I had teams sending their batters up to bat the opposite of their normal side. Big joke for them.

Another team would make their batters bunt... then my pitcher/infielders and catcher would proceed to drop the ball or throw it away. Jeez.

We did this with a few players on my DD's 10U rec team a couple of weeks ago towards the end of a blow-out game. On the first pitch she's ever seen from the left side, our lead-off batter whacked a hard grounder to LF. She's a heck of an athlete.

Love those players! My leadoff for my MS team is a righty that I turned around this season. She's hitting .579 with a .464 GPA (1.312 OPS), 6BB, 1K.

Penn St was probably wondering in the 2nd inning today while Mich scored 13 runs...

Michigan 2nd - Montemarano doubled to left field (0-0). Falk singled to shortstop (0-2 SK). Blanco out at first p to 2b, SAC, bunt (2-0 BB); Falk advanced to second; Montemarano advanced to third. Ramirez singled to shortstop, RBI (0-1 F); Falk advanced to third; Montemarano scored. Lawrence hit by pitch (1-0); Ramirez advanced to second. Romero homered to right center, 4 RBI (2-1 KBB); Lawrence scored; Ramirez scored; Falk scored. Christner doubled to center field (0-1 F). Susalla singled up the middle, RBI (0-0); Christner scored. LAUBACH to p for CUMMINGS. Richvalsky pinch ran for Susalla. Sweet flied out to lf (2-1 BKB). Montemarano walked (3-1 BBBKB); Richvalsky advanced to second. Yeah, for once I was wondering if Penn State was hoping for some runners to leave early, lol. I felt sorry for them.
