…and would you buy them again?

we've had uniform "issues" the last 2 seasons. I know first hand it's a thankless job, very time consuming, frustrating, and you will never make everyone happy…BUT I'm going to try to suggest a few different things for next year and maybe even take on the whole process. We have 9 teams in our organization ranging in ages 8yo-16 yo so need a wide range of sizes...

feel free to post any pics you want too, I need new ideas

thanks!!

No suggestions but …

Do you get new uniforms every year or are the players allowed to wear the same uniform year to year if it still fits?

We started using them last year for our coaches' jerseys and all-star jerseys, and this year went all-in with them for the regular season. They do a good job. The sizes run a bit small (in our experience) so you'll want to do some fittings just in case. The girls love the jerseys.

we've had such not great uniforms (for issues mostly with fit but some in the quality) that it's been 2 complete new sets each year for the last 2 years. This years pants are OK (Boombah) but the jerseys…. not so much. Again quality is fine the fit is not. and a few of us would like different style options

We custom order mizuno for spring/summer. Look great and last like no other. But they are expensive!

In years past, we've used local sporting goods stores with decent results, although our choices were very limited. The biggest complaint was always the fit of the pants, especially for the older girls.

This year we went out on a limb with an out of state supplier I ran across on Facebook, Two-Five Apparel in Indianapolis. I have to say that I am beyond satisfied with the service and results. I am in charge of the uniforms for the organization (10U - 18U). Two-Five Apparel provided us with an unlimited number of uniform renderings during the design process. Their pricing structure is very simple. We went with full button-down jerseys (some teams chose racer-backs, some chose sleeves) and two pairs of pants. The quality of the jerseys is very professional, tackle twill and fully stitched. The girls loved the fit of the pants. We had to place a supplemental order for a few new players and I was a bit nervous about the turnaround time. We received the order in more than enough time.

I recommend checking out the photos on their Facebook page to get an idea of the work they're capable of. They can produce traditional uniforms or fully sublimated. Your imagination is the limiting factor. DM if you have any questions.

Good luck with your search!

MWazu thank you!! twofive apparel is one of the places I'm looking at and they look good online but its always hard to tell how things will be in person. Did they send you samples to try on before hand or did you just go out on a limb with sizing? And if you had any sizing issues, how were they about correcting them and the turn around?

thankS!!

I had no idea Mizuno made custom uniforms. Best fitting and longest lasting pants we've bought!
