We will be playing a double-header in San Dimas tomorrow afternoon. The expected temperature is "broil".

DD had a double header at 2-4pm it was almost 103. Our starting pitcher had an earlier soccer game (I know "soccer") and insisted on playing. Everything looked fine with her and near the end of the first inning she started to stumble and sway. I swear she looked like she was moments from passing out when we pulled her. Luckily our dugout was covered and shaded so after lots of water and some rest she was back (not pitching) and even made it through a pool party after. First time I've witnessed such a thing, crazy if your not looking for signs how fast things can get ugly.
