I think our league switched to a 10" Incredibale for 6U the last year my daughter was 6U. If I remember right it also came in pink which was a big hit with the 6U girls but that was several years ago so my memory could be hazy.

For 6U, our league uses 10" Worth RIF balls.
Every 8U ASA tournament we played (including Districts and States) used the 10" Worth RIFs.
A lot of girls, especially pitchers, struggle with the 11" ball in 10U. That being said I would never use it for 8U. Most 8U hands are waaay too small. This causes a lot of bad habits just trying to hold on to the ball while throwing or pitching. 10" Worth RIF balls are sized appropriately for the 6U and 8U divisions.
I have thought about ways to ease the transition from 8U to 10U myself, especially for pitchers. I think the only option worth consideration would be to pitch from 35" in 8U. Then you only have to get used to the ball change. Increasing ball size in 8U is definitely out of the question as you will definitely lose your most precious commodity, pitchers.

Additional info, as stated above the Worth RIF Sof-Dot is probably the best 8U ball. The other soft core ball like Diamond get way too soft.
Some say using a real leather hard ball in 8's is okay as they don't hit the ball hard. Got news for you, I had several parents tell me this year "thank god we are not using hard balls with your DD" someone would have gotten hurt". If a girl get hurt bat at this age you may never get her back....
