That's not the issue. I just would not want coaching at every tryout like it is a show-off fest for the coaches. I have lived a long time, and there is still always some old guy trying to teach me something. Hey, we don't want penny ante advice at every moment like we are always in need of it. The kid wants to show off her skill and get graded. She probably has her own private coaching. If you don't want her, move on. If you do, save the coaching for practice.

OLIF - Your agenda as the feminist TB coach hater is painfully transparent, and your gender baiting is pathetic. You are the Al Sharpton of Fast Pitch Softall.

My own experience says wait for the call...unless. My DGD tried out for our orgs 14u travel a week ago. Went to the meeting yesterday and found out the coach hasn't made any calls yet; new coach. Got the rejection call this morning. This is bad. Coach should call within 24 to 48 hours. How do you know if you made the team or have to look elsewhere. Besides, you may lose players to other teams by time you call.
Longer that 48, CALL!
