Not very often but sometimes you just want to take the ball and go home. It happens sometimes, no use yelling about it. You do not want to give up on the game but some games you just need to tell everyone to forget about and pretend it never happened.
That's what run rules and mercy rules are for.
Had one last Sat... home plate blue had a 4" strike zone and the field ump was the biggest jerk I'd met in a long time.
Wheels completely fell off in the third inning after my pitcher walked the bases loaded on 12 strikes (my opinion), pitcher is now fighting back tears because her only options are to chuck dead red meatballs or continue to walk them in. Everyone was over it that game. We all wanted to literally just pack up and leave. I told to kids to control what they have control over and keep looking forward. But inside, I was a mess, wanted to knock the two umps heads together and then kick their teeth in!

Did they beat up the other team also ? . Sometimes they want to be Big League and the strike zone is shoe box. But I have seen it the other way also ball above the helmet STRIKE! ball hit inside plate just missing the foot STRIKE! . The are worth what they get paid but I would not have that job for 500 bucks a game . TRUTH!
