After 27 games this is what keeps me up at night. It's a good problem to have but still a problem.

AVG OBP

.481 .548
.444 .510
.444 .475
.421 .500
.404 .460
.391 .440
.382 .443
.377 .411
.365 .459
.353 .386

Six of them have an OPS +1.000

Play up and you will see differentiation. Problem solved.

That is playing up. Three of our five tournaments played have been in 14u Open. We are 01's.

In my experience I find that 12A is generally tougher than 14B or open. A true 14A team is also tougher than most 16/18B level. I'm guessing probably because the A level pitchers/teams at each age group don't typically go to B as they age up.

Looks like you might want to seek out some better competition

Sounds like you've got the right approach, but just need to find bigger, deeper pools to swim in. Regardless if it means playing in another association, different geographic areas, or in better 14U or 16U C/B/A tournaments, you need to seek out and play against competition that is challenging if you want to give your players the opportunity to keep improving.

Agreed on what you are saying. We are 33-8 in our last 41 games. We pretty much stay in state the first five tournaments. We play the best available tournaments that are available in ASA/USSSA. There are plenty of 14u teams that would handed to us we just have not played them as of yet. We start our "Traveling" portion of the season next week in search of better competition. Aside from the HOF/USA-ASA qualifiers ASA is weak in Oklahoma in 12/14u and there really is not any other associations.
