So Thursday we had a game and my first baseman wasn't really doing to well. At her position she missed some routine fly balls and struck out a couple of time. Well dad was livid by the 4th inning and took her it of my dugout and ripped into her. I guess told her to " catch the f**kin ball." "Don't strike out!". I didn't even know about all this till after game was over... Well basically made her feel like crap. Then I guess her **** took over too. Crying and everything.

So we pulled the parents in and let them know negative actions won't be tolerated at game. So yesterday s game prior to getting started I was going to have a talk with dad about his behavior. I asked my player. "Hey Mary where's your dad at?" She turned and looked at me with a cold blank look and said " I suspended him". I said "what?"She said and shrugged her shoulders
"yea I suspended him, he's not allowed at today's game for what he did yesterday."

I walked away and lmao!

WM:
Absolutely not necessary to assume a female's correct and wholly justified reaction to abominable behavior (male behavior BTW) is due to or exaggerated due female blah blah blah (not sure if you are targeting the player or her mother). But I am asking that this thread be removed if you don't remove the reference immediately.

Out in Left Field

I believe you are overreacting to something that is a natural thing for girls. Dad was being a jerk, the daughter wasn't feeling, well plus with her dad being a jerk on top of it all, she reacted to any normal 11-12 year is going to react. Which is to cry and get emotional.

I think you have issues my friend. Please calm down and click the "thanks" button on the bottom left side of the post!

Oh and change your avatar too. I'm tired of looking at your blank face well I type this Lmao!

Kudos to her for suspending him and also to him for going along with it. Hopefully he learned his lesson.

I love it. That kid has a bright future.

Edit: OILF. Get a friggin clue. The thread is clearly aimed at giving props for a young female empowering herself by standing up to the most powerful male authority figure in her life. If you only see mysogony here then you are off base as usual.

A double AMEN... I was watching three of my girls play against each other in a HS game today. Another player was there watching as well. Some of the things she was telling us about what was happening on her HS Varsity team makes the mention of "Monthly Cycles" seem like puppies and kittens.

OILF- As usual, you are waiting in the wings to trump a legitimate thread with your habitually-played gender card. Please feel free to keep your seldom constructive, knee-jerk responses to yourself. The simple fact that this thread is still here for me to respond to leads me to believe that the Mods already have you on ignore, as we all should.
