Confront a coach or not to confront?

HS ball in many cases is not the 'END ALL' game. It is glorified rec ball.
Many TB players play out of position on HS teams based on need. The most
important part of HS ball is that the girls are getting reps as it is
usually a 5 day/week sport. Relax and have some fun

I would say, calm down and let your daughter sort it out. Don't talk badly about the coach, and don't stoke the fire of discontent.

By the way it is not the other kids fault she is playing more, she does not make the lineup card out.

I just want fair playing time... That is all I am asking.

Well after reading your reply to comps post. I would have to think that maybe there is a lot more to the story here. You don't know if at practice your dd is screwing around or goofing off. To many parents and worst yet, coaching parents, have a blinders on and that can rub off on to their kids. She just might not be playing because she doesn't put in the effort that the other girl does. Kids screw around in practice, but they won't tell their parents that they do.

As a TB coach, do you treat every player fair? Equal playing time? Hopefully now you can see when parents are grumbling what and why they are thinking the way they are.... it is the same as you now!!!!
