I'm looking to get a couple of new tees -- what's the best tee to get? I've had bought a ton of different tees over the year, but I always get disappointed because they either (1) break at the base or (2) the ball holder get's shredded and useless.

Any recommendations?

Thanks

I'm a fan of the "ez tee" its compact and light weight. The legs fold up so it fits in a duffel bag. And it has different toppers for different sized balls, I use the golf sized wiffle ball alot with the "grow bat" ... aim small. Hit big.

Good timing on the topic. DD just cracked our tee last night. I think it should be covered under warrantee, but I might get a tanner tee also (or make one)

Tanner tee!

I bought one back when DD was younger and thinking the regular size might not go low enough, I bought the smaller one. My advice now is, go ahead and buy the regular size. It goes down fairly short and you'll have an easier time setting up for high pitches. However, if you do buy the short one, it's no big deal to buy another short piece of pipe and a pipe connector. You can unscrew the main pipe from the base, add the extra piece and the pipe connector and screw the original pipe into the connector. Then you can have that extra height, at the additional cost of buying and carrying around more pieces of pipe.

We have torn the tops off all of them. To me its what is easy to replace. The old rubber T's actually last longer. Of course I have 20 plus kids hitting them . I just plan on ordering replacement tops. The issue with the Tanner T, is with young kids in drills the knock it over, just like the ez T. I have 7, 2 of each above mentioned and 3 of the old rubber T's. SL can post a picture of the best T, we have found for hitting lessons. It's what you see in his hitting setup. It's expensive but has many different settings , so you work inside, outside , bu just moving the post. . It also folds up, making it easy to carry.

I also use the Tanner Tee, both for lessons and for team practice and have found it to be very durable. Can't tell you how many times a new student has banged into some part that isn't the rubber top, and it just keeps on working.
