Thread: Coaches: What Coaching Traits Are The Most Important to Your Position?

This is the companion thread to the one on-going in the Softball Parent forum, but from a coach's perspective.

From a 10U Level of TB Play my perspective is.....*BTW* this will change as we age up more...

f) character/honesty (People are trusting me with their Kids! this should be tops)
b) teaching ability
d) temperment (yelling rarely works)
g) motivational ability (Kids will not play for people they do not believe in)
a) wins vs losses (This matters and has occurred as by product of doing the right things)
h) knowledge of the game (Thanks YouTube, PC's, Discuss Fastpitch and many others for this one)
c) structure/organization (Helps parents a ton but not mandatory)
e) people skills (If you do not have this one you are probably better off anyway...lol)
i) other (please describe)
