this one has probably been asked and answered, but I have yet to find it.

I'm looking for a book on hitting. practical advice a high school student can absorb. my DD reads... alot.

i've found over the past few seasons educating her seems to be the fastest and most lasting way to becoming a better player. we've been to a number of the camps and met some great people, watched videos, lessons, etc. time for a book - suggestions ?

IME, proceed with this book at the risk of paralysis by analysis! Few won't agree that TW was one of the best hitters ever; however, he was never recognized as a great hitting coach or manager.

I thought he got the Best Recognition @ the time because of the use of a "real" camera used on his video...

Kinda like the YU & AS clips... with the $million dollar cameras.

Keep in mind that exceptional athletic performance is more about mindset than mechanics. That said, this one transcends tennis and applies to many other sports and life in general. It is an easy read that answers the age old question of performance in practice vs competition.

Awesome ...
