DD is playing the TCS Ronald McDonald again (she played the 16U RM last weekend).
Three games today, two tomorrow, and one Sunday morning.

Tomorrow morning starts the Winter catching clinics again. DD will be drilling with the past catchers the first session then help me instruct the second one with the new ones. Right now, we're looking at having 30+ catchers between the two sessions. Words getting out and spreading quickly about our catchers

Afterwards, the family is heading down to my cousin's farm for a night of cousins only Halloween partying. Sunday we scrimmage in the afternoon if we can duck the rain. If not then the girls will get the day off.

DD got hit with the stomach bug. She's so upset to miss her last HS field hockey game of the season tonight.

DS had no costume for the school dress-up day today. He's going trick-or-treating as a clown on Oct 31, but the school banned all clown costumes for today. The country has gone insane. Nothing scarier than a 4' 10" 75lb clown. God forbid children require counseling afterward. ha.

Playing in Jersey this weekend. Weather looks like 70's and sunny so that's a plus. this is our last tournament of the year, then we begin our full winter camp/clinic assault lol.

We are in Columbus, GA for the GHSA Elite-8 playoffs. DD's team lost a heartbreaker last night 0-2 in 8 innings. Was a great pitchers dual until we made two errors in the ITB. Play again today at 1pm and it is win or go home. The sad part is we are playing another team from our region, so this will be the 4th time we have played them this season. We are 0-3 and all three games were one run loses.

Last tourney of the season for DD's team starts tomorrow morning. Unfortunately DD may not be able to play. She got stepped on last weekend with metal cleats by a girl at least 2x her size. The girl did a nice job of digging in to DD's calf leaving DD with 3 cleat marks and a nice gash that required 7 stitches. She finished playing the game it happened in last weekend and then played in the championship game (they won), but she now has a leg size bruise and resembles Frankenstein. She played a bit of outfield last night and felt good, so we'll see how she's feeling tomorrow. But certainly no catching. If nothing else she will be there to cheer the team on. Then on to winter training...and basketball!
