Boo! It's Friday check in 10/28/16

DD's team plays this weekend in KC. She has a debate tournament tonight and Sat so will miss those games. Hopefully the team is still playing Sun. Last games of the season. She gets a little break then competition weight-lifting and winter workouts for HS ball. Unseasonable warm here (highs in the 80's)

DD has only played one game since late July with a sore back. Was cleared to play this week, but unless we get lucky, tonight's doubleheader is going to get rained out. I know we have a drought in California.... but can it rain Sunday night through Thursday morning, not Friday and Saturday?

Saturday night going to our neighbor's pumpkin carving party.

After a great showcase weekend where we played extremely well and beat several of the top teams in the state, this weekend we are playing a couple of local teams in a travel league. Trying to avoid the team taking them for granted after last weekend.

Headed to Chattanooga for the Eastern Elite National Qualifier. Pool games start at 8am so we will be warming up in the dark!

DS has one soccer game this weekend and that is it! Too warm to deer hunt and no ball games or practices means I get to sleep in all weekend!

Mudrunner....I hear you on the too warm. Duck season just started last weekend, and with forcast of 85 tomorrow, I am not even getting out of bed in the AM.

DD is walking in two parades (foe cheer) tomorrow, then I am possibly gonna try to get a bike ride in in the afternoon.

Practice indoors tomorrow.

Watching 18 PGF Championships from DVR, as we drink coffee and watch it pour. No softball today, no driving lesson, no nuthin'! Slept in, feels weird! DD has a date tonight - which means we'll be up until she gets home. Does this get easier? Tell me it gets easier...

First weekend off for the winter season from both softball and soccer. DD got hurt Wednesday night in a soccer game, missed her last game Thursday and spent most of the day shuffling between doctors. Good new is she'll be ok in a week or so. Apparently you can bruise the back of your eyeball when you get drilled with the ball from less than a foot away. No concussion and surprisingly no black eye but she does have a traumatic eye injury which has been causing some vision issues mostly with bright lights.
Went to a college open house today to look at a school that had shown interest in her last summer, she didn't like the school so we can knock that one off the list
