First tournament this weekend. New team, same org. Nothing like throwing a bunch of 02/03's right into an 18U tournament! They should be a good team in their 14U age group, so I think the coach wants to keep them humble and motivated from the start.

Whew! Coming off back to back JV & Varsity HS games last night and the night before. JV was supposed to have a 2 day tourney against some decent teams but coach pulled them out this week (don't know why), the Varsity plays one of the toughest HS teams (undefeated, mostly 18U Gold players) in the state tomorrow morning at our home field. It's also homecoming weekend (football game tonight, dance tomorrow night) and the forecast is for snow. Sunday our travel team has SAS (strength, agility & speed) & Skills session followed by a team bonding Broncos Party. And then we cruise into a very busy week of league games, hitting & pitching and school while settling in to the fall season. Oh yeah, today is my twins Birthday. I'm tired!! ;-)

DD has her first Debate Meet Saturday. DD's a senior taking debate for her speech credit. Debate Coach says they will have words if she does really well. Playing softball Sunday, if the rain holds off.

Oldest DD the theater kid is doing debate/competitive theater this year as a freshman. They have extremely high expectations that come from being a top 10 nationally ranked program the last several years to having more state and national titles than any other program at the school. So all in all that should be a fun learning experience also. Good luck with the debate and the game.

DD got asked to play up with the 8th graders for the last few games of the season and into middle school regionals. Championship game for their region is tonight. They are a great team so she's pretty excited about the opportunity to play for a state championship if they win tonight. DS has soccer games tomorrow and Sunday, and DD has practice on Sunday, so the weekend is pretty filled up.

Practices scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. After Saturday practice we are headed to Philly to watch the Drexel Upenn SB game.
