DD is going to get some extra pitching practice in today, tomorrow will be her 1st games with her new travel team at northwestern state. Sun will be a day of rest.

The Phillies aren't very good this year so I'm putting my money on your DD's team. Good luck to her!
I guess that's why her team got tickets. A lot of empty seats. I hope, I don't get drunk and run on the field. Would that look bad to DD's HC.

Very busy weekend.
I need to get DD 2 and 3 to the HS by 5:15 for a loooooooong bus ride to Wausau, WI for a cross country meet. Supposed to be a great meet. Even though DD 2 is older, DD 3 is better at cross country. Part of it is DD 3 is in better shape, part is sone breathing problems DD 2 has. Not sure why. Not sure if she inherited the tendencies for asthma that run in the family, or if it was because of the toxic fumes she was exposed to as a toddler 15 years ago in Lower Manhattan on and after 9/11.
DW and I are heading to Milwaukee for DS' first rowing race of the season. His school is one of the hosts of the race, so they row out of their home boathouse. The Milwaukee River Challenge is fantastic for spectators, Lots of low bridges and narrow passageways close to walkways. Tough on the competitors. I've seen a few collisions.
DD 3 has a couple of softball games on Sunday, part of the local metro league, but they are playing almost in Iowa. In fact, one of the teams they play is from Iowa. The other team is almost in Iowa.

First Fall Ball tourney with some colleges playing every other game. Villanova, Fordham, LaSalle, Kutztown, Rider, Manhattan, Seton Hall and Sienna. Our competition is pretty good.
PGF Futures Qualifier this weekend. PGF trying to make a push into the area and thankfully they do attract pretty good competition which means no hotels. Praying my team gets their bats in gear this weekend. Lord knows we've watched a lot of good pitches over the last couple of weekends.
