Warriorangela got the Yeti rambler. The big boy I mentioned in an earlier thread. Gonna see how this holds up. So two games on Saturday and chillin Sunday.

Tough weekend for the east coast folks. Rain for the NE Finest folks, but at least a break in the heat for the rest of us.

DD1 is back from PGF already, looking forward to a little time off before tryouts begin. DD2's team has tryouts on Sunday that will probably be postponed if this rain keeps up.

Saturday - cleaning up of the HS field. Varsity - JV Scrimmage on Tuesday. School starts Monday, August 8th - BOOM!

No softball this weekend for us. DD's team is having a private invite tryout to fill some holes our college bound players. Coach wants current players to be there to evaluate the players trying out but DD got a pass since we have to drive 8 hours round trip. We will probably work on the yard and the house - maybe do some soft toss and hit the gym...

#7's transitioning from 14U to Showcase and tryouts start on Monday. Not sure I'm prepared for this part of the journey.

NE Finest is hosted by my DD's club. It's always a good event, although we don't have the beautiful venue's like the south!! If you get rained on or have time to kill, you're very close to Patriot Place in Foxboro which is an outdoor mall will shops and restaurants. Plus you can pick up a Tom Brady jersey at the Patriot Pro Shop!! ha
