Be my Friday Check in 2/12/16

Ok well nice weather we are having here in SoCal . Over 80's all weekend long!!! So maybe just enjoy the sun and get some work done at the house. Looks like my lawn will need to be mowed here soon. Warriorangela is still on the DL list. Last night we had her swing a bat. Took it slow, hurt a bit when she extended the arms. Was able to get it around, but really slow. Which is OK with me. Not sure about the rest of you folks, but I really hate valentines day!! LOL

Other than that, whos doing what this weekend??

Kids are out of school today, Monday and Tuesday, so a 5-day weekend is always nice. I plan to watch a lot of softball on TV. DD has practice on Sunday. Hoping the weather cooperates and we can practice outside.

My DD is out of school today for a teacher work day and Monday for President's Day. Her first game is Tuesday night so they will have practices today and Monday with a scrimmage Saturday we will get to see.

My DD is nervous about playing a game for the first time in a very long time since it is the first for the school.

I'm heading to Wisconsin for the weekend. I have Monday off, so I get to spend a long weekend.
Lots going on. We are having a late Chinese New Year's celebration, a late celebration for DD 1's 18th birthday (this past Wednesday) and an early celebration for DD 2's 16th birthday (this coming Tuesday). DW very UNhelpfully mentions to the kids that they were born 9 months after my birthday.
Oh, and Valentine's Day is Sunday.
DD 3 is learning to be an umpire, so she has umpire training Sunday. If she can lock down a catcher, she has pitching practice Monday and also TB practice Wednesday.
DS' rowing team is visiting Madison to use the U Wisconsin indoor tanks Saturday evening, so he will stay over Saturday night and go back to school Sunday afternoon.

So, Saturday will be the first time since Thanksgiving the whole family will be together in our house. We were together in NYC for a couple of weeks around XMas, but the dog wasn't there so it doesn't count.

2nd weekend in a row with no tourney for DD2. Taking her and a teammate to see some college games today. Maybe get an autograph or 2.

Watching softball on TV Sat. DD has TB practice Sun afternoon, then driving up for a campus tour Monday. She was invited to workout with the team that afternoon so it will be a long day for Mom. DD's excited, it's a top 10 NAIA softball program. I hope things go well.

DD has 2 games this afternoon/evening...BB game for DS2 in the morning, vet appt, then shopping after that. Sunday relax and wait for WD premiere.

DD is done with ball until high school practices start, some time at end of the month. Really, really jealous of the 80's in California. We are suppose to have low of 8 degrees with 20-30 mph winds tonight.

Pretty much a whole lot of nothing. Tonight we getting snow, an inch and this area shuts down. The schools have an early release. My work has one too. Saturday is date night with the wife. Dinner and then Deadpool! Completely her idea and it's awesome. Sunday we have the Winter Workout. Monday I'm off. Need to complete some projects I guess.

Catching the Florida game this evening, then heading to Gainesville for a usa elite select tournament this weekend.
