Early Bird-Its Friday Check in 11/20/15

Ok so since I will be away from my computer tomorrow and I hate typing this up with my iphone. Whats going on for this weekend??

Warriorangela has a USSSA tourney in Santa Barbara this weekend so its gonna be a cool/cold weekend at the beach. If we are out of bracket play on Sunday because I think its a single game elimination we will be hauling butt back to Rialto (3 hour drive) to play in the Rec tourney for a chance to win a tshirt!! Hooray!! LOL

So what are your plans??

It had to happen eventually...both girls are in the same friendly. So we do not have to split up on Sunday. We show up at 7 Unpack the family truckster and leave at 5 after watching 6 games.

But the real joy comes when I get to break out this line "I'm going over to the other field to watch my good daughter play now"

^^^^^That made me laugh...hard! We're going down to WV to the In-laws for Thanksgiving as soon as DD gets home from school tomorrow. Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending upon how you look at it, we have to load up and leave Sunday morning by 6 a.m. in order to get DD back home to drive an additional hour after she changes to play a DH in her indoor HS Winter league. So much for watching my Steelers this weekend. Wait...they're on a buy week. No worries then!

Hosting Jay Weaver and the NECC this weekend. Then my daughter will just have basketball for for the rest of the year and I'll rest her arm until New Years Day.

TWO GIRLS FOR EVERY BOY!!! Surf City here we come!

Well, not really. I'll be at home in the tundra following the games on gamechanger. Two games Friday, three on Saturday, and two on Sunday. I'm guessing it's a bit warmer in Huntington Beach.

Getting on an airplane tomorrow and flying into Little Rock. DD1 and DD2 are doing DD1's college camp. 49 for the high on Saturday there......brrrrr

We are headed for the 18U USA Elite Select qualifier in Valdosta, GA. Should be a good tournament with a lot of quality teams from GA and FL. There is live steaming available in case anyone is Jonesing for some softball this weekend!

Our org is hosting 70+ teams over 4 locations so it is going to be a long weekend... especially since it looks like weather is going to effect games.

So coaching duties, feed and care of the umpires, making sure games have enough balls, yelling at ground crews, recording results, probably adjusting schedules on the fly and various other miscellaneous duties....

DD will just play and then hang out with friends both days.

We are in Santa Ana, CA. Playing in HB at 8:30 and 10 and the we don't play until 1:30 Saturay. Headed to UC Irvine to get our excuse for missing Friday and then the beach and food.
