Good inexpensive bat

I have a parent to one of my players who wants to buy a good inexpensive bat for her daughter for Christmas. Okay, I guess we're not talking about any 2015 high-end bats, as they are all expensive. What about 2013 bats or 2014? She's been using the team's Easton FX1 and likes it. I suppose she's gotten use to the two-piece.

Suggestions?

Also, high school softball is in northern Utah, so cooler weather then is a consideration.

What is the threshold of expensive? Does she want a new in wrapper bat, or is a used bat OK? I know Amazon has had some amazing sales on 2014 LXTs in the past. I bought one for my DD for $134. Ebay may have some good deals on 2014 bats as well.

Some sizes of the 2014 Easton FX1 and 2014 LS LXT are on clearance on Softball Rampage for $100. I have also seen some DeMarini Insanes for about $150. I guess it depends on their price range and what size she swings. And I agree - PM CoreSoftball20. He made my daughter a smoking deal on her new Xeno!

33/25 lxt... $99...I am starting to tremble...but I can't do it.

The Easton FX1 is end loaded so might want to try an older Rocketech, should be more durable in the colder weather.

Not having redhotcoach’s will power I went ahead and purchased the 33/25 LTX. $99, with free shipping. I received the bat this morning! I bought it late Wednesday night, thanksgiving Thursday, ….

Softball Rampage has moved way up on my list of places to shop.
