Ok so a while back I did a post similar but it was directed for the guys. Real hit too! This time around will make it for the ladies.

I was a stay-at-home mom, whose job it was to shuttle my daughter to and from practices and lessons, and to participate in every fund raising event held. Finally got tired of fundraising. Really sick and tired of it. So I got a job. Now I'm a part-time bookkeeper who fund raises 5 days a week. :p

I am a Division Administrative Assistant at Waddell & Reed, Inc. which is a national investment and financial planning firm. I oversee the operations of 5 offices. Luckily W&R is very generous with vacation and allows me to have flexible hours so that I can be at all of my DD's games!

I am an Attorney in a small town who has her own law office and is a part-time public defender. I have been looking for some teaching opportunities at local colleges to top it all off....in case anyone needs a criminology teacher...: )

I started out in pre-clinical drug discovery for a start-up pharmaceutical (after seeing the drugs in action and working with the staff chemists I finally understood organic chemistry). Around-the-clock lab work didn't really work once I had my kids, so I morphed into the administrative side of clinical research for a small oncology company. I like the administrative side - I'm still involved in the science, but it's also a lot of numbers, which I find very soothing during these troubling years of raising teenagers :)
