DD's high school team is headed to the Elite 8 part of the state tournament. The parents have put together a very nice goody bag for the players and manager. We have Elite 8 shirts for the 2 male coaches. We would like to have an inexpensive gift to give them when they leave for the long road trip. Any suggestions?

Go to a thrift store and find a nice used wooden bat. Paint it team colors and have the players sign it. Cheap and special.

Well I feel like a dunce the first thing I thought of was a gas card to help with the trip and a six pack for afterwards :/ Everyone elses are much nicer.

Thinking the same thing, minus the beer.
That's what I give the travel coach. I can't give that to the school coach, though he would probably appreciate it.
I can always use another hoodie, a Starbucks card, a gas card, 6 softballs, or diet pepsi. 
I'll take a nice fifth of some good Bourbon any time.....wonder if any my team parents read this site because it sure would be nice.
