This request is kind of the flip side to a thread from a few months ago, regarding the dumbest things you hear parents yell from the stands. I'm trying to make the area in the basement a bit more "softball-friendly". My DD got a Jugs pop-up net for her birthday, and we're down there several nights a week trying to make her a better hitter, but all the other things you find in a basement (brother's toys, etc) detract from the atmosphere. What I'm looking for is phrases or slogans for a player to see (think motivational type, hitting related) to put up on the wall to make it more fun down there. Almost like "bulletin board" material. Maybe pictures of players with good form or mechanics? She doesn't know many, if any, of the big-name softball players, but since we're near Detroit, Cabrera is a name/player she can recognize and relate to. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks DFP!
