We went to Florida and played hard. DD had a blast, and she was well known for her defensive plays at 3B (she made incredible plays...some that made our jaws drop LOL). She absolutely LOVES her team, and wants to keep playing for them. The kicker is...she is a pitcher too, BUT she is far behind her peers in development (with respect to pitching). We are anxiously waiting to find out when tryouts are, and we are praying that the coaches will keep her even if it means not as much pitching time (as she needs). However, I do think that the coaches are impressed with her hard working attitude, and have already seen HUGE improvements defensively. They have also seen improvements in her pitching since she changed PC. DD only wants to tell them that she'll take whatever pitching time he will give her, and she won't demand more. So only time will tell...

Oh, and I know that she needs more mound time to improve, but I also know how hard it is to find a team that is good fit...we have already been through the wringer with 2 teams, and we don't want to repeat that experience.

Sigh...just praying that it works out.
